An article in the weekend's Independent reported on the worst fears of parents as their kids go back to school... Peer Pressure came in at number 5, with Bullying at number 1.....
In 2021 it was reported that 27,000 kids had been victims of County LInes Gangs across England... forced into carrying and delivering drugs, the alternative being violence. Girls are also trafficked into prostitution.
The most commonly targeted age group is 15 to 17, but kids as young as 7 have been victimised as they are below the age of criminal responsibility....
Teachers are great at detecting problems such as these and should be given all the support they need....
